Thank your for you post... My purpose is to create scatter file for iNew L4 (MT6735p chipset) but MTK Droid Tools provides a greyed out button "Create Scatter File" with an error on the main connection log.
ReplyDeleteSo after searching a lo,t your post was the only one where at least I saw a solution for the following error "TotalBytesPerChunk Not Found. Set default Page/Spare=2048/64"
As you recommended to use SD card and install Busybox.
I did it and have at least 11GB free space on Phone storage + 7 GB free space on SD card. Default write set to SD card.
I also have installed Busybox (no-root) app from Play store because the phone is not rooted (it's not even able to root as far as I have tried various methods). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=burrows.apps.busybox
Note: I have tried with another phone Infinix Hot Note with MT6592 chipset, every goes fine from connection to creating scatter files and backup/recovery etc. I am only having problem with iNew L4 smartphone which has MT6735P chipset.
Can you please suggest something
Try rooting your device with Kingo Root with this link.
Deletehttp://itulahakhere.blogspot.com.ng/2015/08/how-root-android-phones-with-kingo.html
Give feedback....
Thank you, I have tried Kingo Root, and several others for rooting. They failed.
DeleteAlso the Root option in MTK Droid Tools also failed.
Kingo Root took around half an hour to try to root it by various ways failed at last.
DeleteThere are other approaches to this. I expected that Kingo Root should work. However, you may have give a try other alternatives. Like iroot: http://androidcrip.blogspot.com.ng/2015/08/best-and-easy-method-to-root-android.html
DeleteNote: If you have apps like "Clean master" or other related clean apps installed on your device, please "Force stop" them why rooting cause such apps will prevent SU from gaining root access to your device. Thank you for your feedback, I will be posting related solutions specifically for iNew device rooting soonest. Let me know how this goes...

ReplyDeleteLocate and download Mobogenie, have it installed on your PC and make do with the root option. This is an alternative option if the above recommendations did not work.
Hi, Mobogenie can´t give Root MT6735 chipset :-( :-(
Deleteuse KingRoot (from http://kingroot.net/)
ReplyDelete- Download APK and install directly on your phone. (Do not use PC version as it's not in English.)
- Try rooting after launching the KingRoot app on your phone.
- Once rooted it can be checked with Root Checker app from Play Store.
Hi, all One-Click-Root Apk does not work. I have all tested, KingRoot, IRoot, etc. I think the MT6735 with Lollipop can´t Root :-(
